Hardships and Trials

" Do men think that they will be left alone on saying,
" We believe," and that they will not be tested? " [Al-Qur'an 29:2]

Oh Muslims, Prophet Muhammad said in a hadith, " When a group of Muslims sit in one place in order to remember Allah (or to learn this deen) then the angels will surround them, the Mercy of Allah will cover them, the calmness will come down to them and Allah will mention them amongst His high close creations ".

All Praise be to Allah (swt) because He (swt) guided us to this Deen, Al-Islam. All Praise be to Allah (swt) because He (swt) guided us to work for the establishment of His (swt) Deen on earth, (i.e. the work to re-establish the Islamic State).

Allah (swt) says in His Noble Book (The Noble Quran),

" And the Unbelievers would almost trip you up with their eyes when they hear the Message, and they say: Surely he is possessed. But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds." [Al-Qur'an 68:51,52]

The disbelievers in Makkah knew the strength of Prophet Muhammad's message. They knew that it would destroy their rule and their way of life. They attacked the Prophet and his companions, they harassed them, and they tortured, jailed, and killed many of them.

Umar ibn Al-Khattab (ra) once asked Khabbab Ibn ul'Aratt (ra), one of the companions of Prophet Muhammad, about the way the disbelievers used to torture him. Khabbab showed him part of his back where there were many dark holes. He said to Umar ibn Al-Khattab, they used to burn stones until they became red. Then they put them on my back". The companions’ belief was strong and they insisted on carrying Islam because they knew that victory would be for them. After all they were on the straight path and they would have Paradise in the hereafter. The Prophet Muhammad promised them that Allah (swt) will proclaim His Deen over all other ways of life and beliefs,even though the Pagans may detest it.

Islam will replace secularism, nationalism, capitalism, socialism not only in the Muslim countries, but throughout the world Insha'Allah. Deviation from the Quran and Sunnah led the Muslim rulers to surrender their lands and their people to the enemies. We should carry Islam the way Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) carried it. We should enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil and we should advise the rulers and revive the Islamic ruling system and stand firmly against anyone whose regimen is against Quran and Sunnah. We should insist on this path because Prophet Muhammad insisted on this path with all the pain, torture and persecution. We have Paradise waiting for us and Allah (swt) says, " Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, " We believe, " and that they will not be tested? "

Listen to what some of our brothers are encountering in some parts of the Muslim world: Some of our brothers have been in prison in Tripoli, Libya since 1973. They are in prison cells underground. One of them Ya'qoub al'Ya'qoubi was hit on his head by the Libyan Intelligence until he lost his mind. We shouldn't forget Sosa Prison in Tunisia where 21 Tunisian Army Officers were persecuted by the ruthless Tunisian rulers (because they worked to re-establish an Islamic State). There are also 61 of them imprisoned in Sosa Prison in the heart of the Tunisian desert. They are being tortured severely. And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise.

We shouldn't forget the persecution and the killings of our brothers in Uzbekistan, Jordan, Egypt, and Syria. What do you know about the torture in the Syrian prisons against the sincere workers for this Deen? Their nails and their eyes are being removed!

But there is no retreat; we should stick to the method of Prophet Muhammad even if it seems to be (for some people) longer or slower or less useful. Allah will certainly aid those who aid His (cause); for verily Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will).

Do not think that these corrupt ruthless ruling regimes in the Muslim world would stay forever. Morning is their time appointed: is not the morning nigh?

May Allah (swt) help our brothers in the jails of these ruthless corrupt rulers. May Allah (swt) send down calmness on them. May Allah send His aid to them. May Allah (swt) help the sincere workers to re-establish the Islamic State. Aameen.
